When crisis occurs in the family, it creates trauma for everyone involved. At Reclaiming Our Greatness (ROG), we are inspired to apply a holistic, all family, all community approach, to assist victims of domestic violence and those at-risk of, or experiencing, housing in stability with trauma informed care.
Led by black professionals committed to giving back, ROG provides culturally appropriate support to black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) in King County, WA who are the most in need of assistance in successfully navigating complex healthcare, education, and justice systems.
Reclaiming Our Greatness (ROG) is a grassroots nonprofit organization that builds creative, client-centered solutions for folks impacted by systemic inequities in King County, WA.
Reclaiming Our Greatness will be serving children and families with compassionate case management services coupled with creative resource triage to assist families and increase stability for them and their children.

We are writing specifically about a gap in services that exists for individuals and families, especially those currently experiencing homelessness. While the BSK-YFHPI program offers housing stability/rental assistance to people on the brink of homelessness, it does little to address the need for help with move-in costs for those individuals. Nor does it serve the homeless community.
